Dark and rich, barrel matured to a soft velvet finish, has been hand crafted to enjoy now. Our Merlot shows typical flavours of plum and mulberry with aromatic chocolate and mint.

Merlot is just simply working for Nabygelegen. MO3 clones with exceptionally low yield produce concentrated grapes. Dedicated work in vineyards and hands on winemaking in the cellar makes Nabygelegen Merlot one of the best Merlots in South Africa. Matured in 225lt French oak barrels, the wine is packed with flavor like plum, mulberry, and red fruit. Velvety smooth palate.
